SHAKESPEARES SECRETS
July 10, 2020INSIDE MY ROOM #3
Continuing our segment of story time called INSIDE MY ROOM where we will be sharing poetry instead of monologues or fictional short stories. Today’s story time features a poem called Happi:))) by Eunice Gatama. I ask myself time and time again am I crazy or does everyone else seem to be happier than me?
Happi:)))
If I place my happiness
in the future
is that where my happiness will stay
a distance away

far from reach
chasing the shadows of who I could be
and not who I am
split in time and never here?
– Eunice Gatama
Thank you for taking the time to read this piece. We hope your day is going well & if you have a piece you want to share reach out.
